Let's face it, the Galaxy S8 is a flipping beast in almost every direction you go, from Bixby to the elegant curves, there's no stopping the S8 from being the best phone of 2017, something I would rarely award Samsung.

So, out of the box, you get the standard stuff, quick charger, manuals, the phone, Sim picker and then the expensive standard headphones by AKG with a 3.5mm headphone port. Which, by the way is an amazing standard feature.

Once you hold it, you know something up, because it feels flipping great. It's easy to hold, looks crazy amazing, and it fits in the palm of your hand, to the point where maybe even Trump can experience the amazement of a phablet for the first time in it's life.

It's got a terrific screen and it's UI looks slick to the point in which one might actually favor Samsungs system over stock.

Of course it's also much faster, and Bixby is actually pretty amazing when you use it in an app, but that's all the innovation that you can see on it thereafter.

What you need to know is that it works flawlessly, is incredibly swift, and it's UI and design make it an easy buy, despite the price. The camera is pretty much unchanged, however. But that's a good thing, in this case. I don't see much room for improvement. If you need to get a new phone, ignore the iPhone 7 and G6, and go straight for Sammy. Past aside, it's a terrific phone worth every bit of praise it gets.
